The same foot, four different answers
This is where most wrong sizes come from. Pablosky publishes insole lengths and asks you to leave a margin. Biomecanics and Garvalin publish foot lengths with the margin already inside, and tell you not to add any. Measure the foot once, then read the right chart.
| Brand | How the chart works | Widths | Half sizes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pablosky | Insole length — leave 0.8–1.2 cm | Medium and wide lasts | No |
| Biomecanics | Foot length — margin already included | Wider line only | No |
| Garvalin | Foot length — margin already included | One width | No |
| Petasil | True to size in length | Up to five: D–H | No |
