When these terms say “we” or “us”, they mean Kypos Ltd. Your contract is with Kypos Ltd.
2. These terms
These terms apply when you buy from us. Please read them before you order — you are asked to accept them at checkout.
They are written for consumers: people buying for themselves or their family rather than for a business. If you are buying for a business, sections 6 and 8 do not apply to you, as the rights in them are consumer rights.
3. Placing an order
When you complete checkout, you are making an offer to buy. We confirm we have received it by email — that confirmation is not yet acceptance. Your contract with us begins when we email you to say your order has been dispatched.
Occasionally we may not accept an order: an item sells out, we spot a pricing error, or we cannot verify payment. If that happens we will tell you and refund anything you have paid in full. If a price is obviously wrong and you could reasonably have realised it, we do not have to sell at that price.
You need to be 18 or over to place an order.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in EUR and include VAT. The price you pay is the price shown when you order, even if we change it afterwards. Delivery in Cyprus is free, so there is nothing to add at checkout.
We take payment by card through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Payment is taken when you order; if we do not accept your order, we refund it in full.
We describe and photograph our shoes as accurately as we can. Screens vary, so colours may look slightly different in person. If a description or image is wrong in a way that matters, that is covered by section 8.
5. Delivery
We deliver anywhere in Cyprus. Delivery is free, with no minimum order. Most orders arrive within 2–4 business days.
Unless we agree otherwise with you, we will deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest. If we miss that, you can give us a short further deadline, and if we miss that too you can cancel and get a full refund.
The shoes are our responsibility until they are physically delivered to you or to someone you have named. If a parcel is lost or damaged on its way to you, that is our problem to solve, not yours to chase with the courier. Details are on our Shipping page.
6. Cancelling and returning
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order without giving a reason, under the Consumer Rights Law 133(I)/2013. We extend that to 30 days as a commercial promise, and we pay the return postage.
Our Returns & Refunds page explains how, and includes the cancellation form. It forms part of these terms.
7. Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at info@schoolsteps.shop if you think someone else has used your account.
You can ask us to close your account at any time, from your account settings or by emailing privacy@schoolsteps.shop. We handle closure requests by hand, so please allow a few working days. We have to keep your order and invoice records even after an account closes — our Privacy Policy says for how long and why.
We may suspend or close an account if it is being used fraudulently or to break these terms. If we do, we will tell you why, unless the law stops us from doing so.
8. If something is wrong with your shoes
We are responsible for 2 years from delivery if the shoes are faulty, not as described, or not of the quality you can reasonably expect. That is your legal guarantee under the Sale of Goods Law 154(I)/2021, it costs you nothing, and we cannot sign it away in these terms.
Section 6 of the Returns & Refunds page sets out the remedies and the time limits, including your right to reject faulty shoes outright in the first 30 days.
9. Reviews and anything else you post
If you post a review or send us a photo, you keep it — you are just giving us permission to show it on our website and in our marketing, with your first name. You can ask us to take it down at any time by emailing info@schoolsteps.shop.
Please only post things that are yours to post, and keep them lawful and civil. We may remove content that is not.
10. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach. Loss is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if we both knew it might when you ordered.
We do not limit our responsibility in any way where the law does not allow us to. That includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, defective products, and your rights under sections 6 and 8.
We are not responsible for business losses. We supply to consumers for private use, and if you use our shoes for any commercial purpose we have no liability for lost profit, lost business or lost opportunity.
11. Using the website
The text, photographs and design on schoolsteps.shop belong to us. You are welcome to browse, share links, and print pages for your own use. Please do not copy our content for your own commercial use, or try to interfere with the site or other people's use of it.
We aim to keep the site available, but we may occasionally need to take it down for maintenance or changes. This does not affect any order you have already placed.
12. Changes to these terms
The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you placed it. We keep a copy with your order confirmation.
We may change these terms for future orders — for example to reflect a change in the law, in our costs, or in how we operate. Changes are never applied backwards to an order you have already placed.
13. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Cyprus, and disputes can be brought before the Cyprus courts.
If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing here takes that away.
14. Complaints
Email info@schoolsteps.shop or call +357 97 93 98 60 and we will try to sort it out. For legal notices, write to legal@schoolsteps.shop or to Kypos Ltd, Voreiou Ipeirou 2, Oasis Park, Flat/Office Q2, 8035 Paphos, Cyprus.
If we cannot resolve things, you can contact the Consumer Protection Service of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry at www.consumer.gov.cy.
