The brand
Garvalín Calzados, S.L. has made children’s shoes in Elche since 1968 and is now in its second family generation. Biomecanics was created out of Garvalín in 1996: the two brands are the same company, at the same address, and publish identical size charts row for row.
Garvalín is the everyday line. Its school range starts lower than Biomecanics but overlaps it, so this is a different collection rather than a cheaper version of the same shoe. The company designs and develops in Elche and does not publish a single country of manufacture — we say what it says.
How this brand sizes
Do not add a centimetre. The allowance is already in the chart.
Identical to Biomecanics, row for row. A 10.8 cm foot is a size 18; a 12 cm foot is a size 20.
